Though Cardiff has been nicknamed as the ‘Europe’s Youngest Capital’ its history expands nearly 2000 years back when the first Romans established a fort at Cardiff now known as the famous “Cardiff Castle”. During the industrial revolution, it was one of the busiest ports in the world, exporting the coal that fired the technological revolution.
